Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Business Development Manager with Pharma/Healthcare freight forwarding experience to own key sector growth opportunities, win new business across a global logistics network, and maximise earnings potential in a market-leading environment.

You will develop a robust sales pipeline, build long-term relationships with customers, ensure GDP and GDPR compliance, and collaborate with Operations, Telesales and Marketing. Hybrid working available in Hounslow.

Qualifications

• Experience in Pharma or Healthcare Freight Forwarding.
• Proven ability to win new business and build relationships in Pharma/Healthcare.
• Knowledge of GDP within Pharma/Healthcare.
• Able to commute to Hounslow.

Responsibilities

Are you a Business Development Manager with a background in Pharma and Healthcare Freight Forwarding, looking to take ownership of major sector growth opportunities, drive new business across a global logistics network, and maximise your earning potential within a market-leading organisation?

This global freight forwarding and logistics business operates across international markets, providing a wide range of transport and supply chain solutions to customers across multiple sectors. They are looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced Business Development Manager who can develop new business opportunities specifically across the Pharma and Healthcare sectors.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business across a designated territory, developing target accounts and building a strong sales pipeline. You will work closely with branch operations, marketing and telesales teams to develop customer solutions while ensuring all sales activity meets the required GDP and GDPR standards.

This role would suit a Business Development Manager from a Pharma / Healthcare Freight Forwarding background, with a proven track record of winning new business and developing relationships within the sector.

The Role:
