About You

You are a motivated self-starter who consistently demonstrates an enthusiastic, never-give-up attitude and entrepreneurial spirit. You will have payments experience in B2B field sales (preferably in card payments) selling to Enterprise clients, you bring valuable insights and expertise.

Responsibilities
  1. Achieve sales targets for new business selling Direct Debits, Wage Advance, Card Payments, Open Banking and alternative payment methods to Enterprise clients.
  2. Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
  3. Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business and reach new audiences.
  4. Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
  5. Maintain a strong understanding of Access IP and relevant third-party products.
  6. Attend exhibitions, host seminars, present sales ideas or attend meetings in support of other salespeople.
  7. Provide the highest level of customer service and technical expertise to customers.
  8. Respond to inquiries quickly, providing feedback to improve team performance.
  9. Build and nurture relationships with customers, ensuring that they reach their intended revenue goals.
  10. Work in conjunction with our highly skilled Partnership and Marketing Teams.
  11. Forecast accurately taking into account run rate within the month focusing on Key Accounts.
Your Skills and Experiences
  1. Previous experience in B2B field sales roles in the UK, specifically in Fintech/Payments industry.
  2. Experience in Payments is required, you will be selling Direct Debits, Wage Advance, Card Payments, Open Banking and alternative payment methods.
  3. Ability to generate a strong pipeline of opportunities to enable you to reach your sales target.
  4. Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong ability to prioritise.
  5. Persuasive and compelling in expressing ideas and concepts.
  6. Excellent communication skills, telephone, email, written and presentations.
  7. Ability to build rapport at all levels of an organization.
  8. Proven ability to develop positive relationships, co-operation with, and support for colleagues and clients.
  9. Demonstrates a commitment to development and lifelong learning both for yourself & the team.
  10. Acts with integrity, loyalty and honesty.
  11. Remain calm and polite at all times, even under intense pressure.
  12. Excellent computer skills specifically with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
