An established and rapidly growing IT and Telecoms solutions provider is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead new client acquisition. With over 20 years of industry expertise, the company offers comprehensive services including IT support, cybersecurity, business telephony, and cloud-based infrastructure to businesses across various sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking business known for delivering tailored solutions that improve connectivity, enhance security, and empower digital transformation.

The Role

We are looking for a proactive, target-driven Business Development Manager with a strong track record in the IT managed services sector. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the new business sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and engaging prospects, to negotiating contracts and ensuring a smooth handover to the delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities within the IT managed services space
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through outbound activity, referrals, and networking
  • Conduct client meetings and presentations to understand business needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Close deals that align with the company’s service offering and profitability targets
  • Collaborate with technical and support teams to ensure successful onboarding and customer satisfaction
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and market feedback to senior management

About You

The ideal candidate will be a driven, self-sufficient sales professional with strong commercial acumen and deep industry knowledge. You’ll be passionate about solving client challenges through technology and confident in building relationships with decision-makers.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in B2B business development within IT managed services or related sectors
  • A strong industry network and ability to generate high-quality leads
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • A consultative, solution-based sales approach
  • Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required
