business development manager in Technology Enabled Care
Taking Care provides Technology Enabled Care (TEC) and personal alarm services, supporting people to live independently, safely and confidently in their own homes. It works with Local Authorities, Housing Associations, NHS organisations and other partners to deliver preventative care solutions.
- Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities aligned with the company’s growth strategy
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders, commissioners, procurement teams and strategic partners
- Lead opportunities from initial engagement through contract award and commercial close
- Shape customer propositions and solutions that deliver value for customers and the company
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions and contract development
- Work with Finance, Legal, Operations, Marketing, Product and Bid Management teams
- Support and influence tender and bid submissions, providing customer insight and win strategies
- Monitor market trends, procurement pipelines and competitor activity to identify opportunities
- Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, networking events and customer meetings
- Maintain a robust pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities and revenue
- Ensure awarded contracts are handed over successfully for mobilisation and ongoing account management
- Significant experience in strategic business development, partnerships or complex B2B/B2G sales
- A strong track record of delivering sustainable revenue growth through complex sales cycles
- Experience working with Local Authorities, NHS organisations, Housing Associations or other public sector bodies
- Knowledge of public sector procurement and tender processes
- Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, business cases, contract negotiation and risk assessment
- Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Experience developing strategic partnerships and new routes to market
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills
- Strong pipeline management and forecasting experience
- £530 Per month car allowance and a competitive bonus scheme
- 35 Hours, Monday to Friday
