Our Client - A leading innovator in battery energy storage solutions, headquartered in Europe with offices across multiple regions, is focused on developing advanced, sustainable energy storage and monitoring technologies to support a cleaner, more reliable energy future.

Role Summary - We are seeking a motivated and energetic Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the UK within the Commercial & Industrial sector. This hybrid role will focus on proactive outbound prospecting to build and qualify a strong sales pipeline for energy storage solutions, alongside providing support for sales operations and CRM management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead outbound sales campaigns via cold calling, email, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Build and maintain high-quality lead lists using relevant sales tools.
  • Qualify prospects and secure meetings for senior sales representatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to refine messaging and optimise campaigns.
  • Track and report on pipeline activity and sales metrics using CRM software.
  • Support sales administration, including order processing, documentation, and quote preparation.
  • Ensure CRM data accuracy and manage appointment scheduling.

Your Profile

  • Proven track record in outbound B2B sales, particularly cold calling and lead generation.
  • Confident and persuasive communicator skilled at engaging decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as LinkedIn, lead generation platforms, and CRM systems.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable working towards KPIs and adapting sales strategies accordingly.
  • Team player with a growth mindset.
  • Experience in renewables or battery storage sales is advantageous but not essential.
