Overview

Business Development Manager - Breast Surgery - Northern England

Our client is a well-recognized global MedTech manufacturer & have a new innovative product offering for the Breast Surgery marketplace.

As a result of expansion into the UK market they are seeking a high calibre Business Development Manager to cover Northern UK territory. This will be 1 of 12 hires across Europe to help drive sales of the new portfolio in a high growth marketplace.

Responsibilities
  • Establish new customers and maintain strong relationships with potential customers
  • Increase the sales of products to healthcare establishments (NHS/Private) in the designated geographical area
  • Conduct presentations to consultants, practice staff and nurses
  • Be present at surgeries in theatres with consultants
  • Organize meetings for consultants and other medical staff
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with medical and supporting administration staff
  • Work closely with the regional team and relevant stakeholders
  • Negotiate price setting and finalize contract agreements with new prospects
  • Manage and grow existing accounts by providing excellent support to customers
  • Develop strategies with the business unit manager to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
Qualifications
  • Theatre experience (comfortable in theatres and watching surgeries)
  • Experience in Breast and/ or Medical Aesthetics - preferred
  • Proven track record in proactively seeking and acquiring new business opportunities
  • Business acumen and resilience to rejection
  • Charismatic networker with a proactive approach to building relationships with both internal partners and external contacts
  • Understanding of a flexible working environment and customer needs through regular contact and feedback
  • Proven track record of sales success
