We are seeking a Business Development Manager to focus on innovating procurement solutions within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. This role involves leading programs at Amazon scale, solving complex operational, business, marketing, and technical challenges through innovative solutions. You will be a key customer-facing representative, responsible for acquiring new customers, generating demand from medium to large corporations, and driving business growth. Additionally, you will influence various business functions to support your workstream's success.

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Develop go-to-market strategies and account management plans within enterprise verticals, becoming a leading expert on procurement practices, needs, and opportunities.
  2. Determine the best go-to-market approach, including solutions, product development, and services direction.
  3. Manage all aspects of the sales process for large, complex strategic accounts within your assigned industry.
  4. Maintain a healthy pipeline and lead sourcing by understanding industry trends, customer priorities, and Amazon Business positioning.
  5. Engage with CXOs to build demand pipelines and drive execution to increase topline revenue.
  6. Represent the Voice of Customer by collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, sales operations, professional services, and product/tech teams.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of enterprise or institutional sales experience engaging with senior stakeholders/CXOs in large enterprises, including managing complex negotiations.
  • MBA from a Tier I B-School.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling, concise documents.
  • Proven analytical skills and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay/eProcurement and Tender processes in large enterprises.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience influencing C-level executives.
  • Strong customer success or services delivery background, preferably in B2B industries.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, CRMs like Salesforce, and sales/marketing automation tools.
  • Experience in developing implementation and delivery methodologies.
Additional Requirements
  • 3+ years of sales experience.
  • 4+ years of B2B sales experience.
  • Experience analyzing data to assess performance drivers.
  • Proven ability to close sales and generate revenue.
