Job summary

Bristol-based role for a Business Development Manager in the water sector. £50,000 - £60,000 base salary plus a company car and fuel card.

An established water compliance specialist is expanding its sales team to win new business across water hygiene, Legionella and water treatment. You will build long-term client relationships, manage your own pipeline from first contact to contract award, and attend client meetings and networking events around Bristol and beyond.

Qualifications

• Sales, business development or account management experience in the water industry (essential)
• A strong understanding of Legionella compliance, water hygiene or water treatment services
• A proven track record of winning new business
• Confident discussing pricing and contracts with clients at all levels
• Organised, self-motivated and happy working on your own initiative
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Finding and winning new business across water hygiene, Legionella and water treatment
• Building relationships with facilities managers, estates teams, contractors and other decision-makers
• Managing your own pipeline, from first contact through to contract award
• Preparing proposals, quotes and presentations
• Growing existing accounts with additional services
• Working closely with the operations team to hand over new work smoothly
• Attending client meetings and networking events around Bristol and beyond

Know the water hygiene industry inside out and enjoy winning new business? An established water compliance specialist is looking for a Business Development Manager to help take them to the next level.

They've been providing water hygiene and compliance services across the UK for over 30 years, are LCA members, and hold ISO 9001 and Constructionline Gold accreditation. As part of a growing group, they're investing in their sales team and want someone who can build long-term client relationships.
