Business Development Manager

We are seeking a Business Development Manager for a luxury hotel group to represent and promote their products within the travel trade. The role covers the Scotland region. The salary is up to £43,000 plus benefits.

Responsibilities

1. Travel 3 to 4 days a week to visit new and existing travel agencies to increase brand and product awareness.
2. Train staff, negotiate new commercial terms, organize fam trips, and attend travel events and trade shows.
3. Target 10 to 15 visits per week.
4. Identify new travel agents, concierge desks, and luxury specialists.
5. Analyze market trends and monitor competitor activities.
6. Provide monthly sales performance reports.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in business development within the travel industry, preferably targeting luxury travel agencies.
• Based in Scotland is essential.
• Background in hotels or cruises is preferred but open to other travel sectors.
• Valid UK driving license and own car (mileage paid).
• Ability to organize and attend fam trips.
