The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background in M&E maintenance and experience in bid submissions. Business Development Manager – Facilities, Building Services Industry £60,000
A company renowned for an exceptional and unique service built from an engineering and services background with a commitment to high level quality maintenance and project delivery, innovation, customer service and technical know-how are seeking a business development manager to grow the business.
The key to the growth of the business is to sell quality M&E maintenance to both mobile and static clients.
You will be responsible for the management and preparation of quality bid submissions and to the support the operational team when pitching for work.
The right candidate, who exhibits the right attitude, cultural fit and vision for growth, can grow with the company and become a member of the senior leadership team.
Must have a proven sales track record of selling quality M&E maintenance both mobile and static to the following:
Managing Agents – commercial properties
Multisite Landlords – commercial properties
Commercial office/property
Private education/higher education
Block Management companies – landlords residential
Experience of working alone or as part of a team to produce bids, tenders, PQQ and SQ including the following key elements:
Be commercial and financially aware.
Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to produce presentations, tenders, proposals documents.
Be an excellent communicator with the ability to confidently deliver presentations when tendering for new business.
