Job summary

Q3 Medical Group is seeking a passionate Business Development Manager to promote and sell innovative biodegradable medical technology. This role requires significant hospital interaction, helping healthcare providers achieve better clinical outcomes while presenting products that reduce costs and improve patient care. With a focus on teamwork and collaboration, the ideal candidate will have prior experience in medical device sales, exceptional communication skills, and a desire to make a difference in healthcare.

Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years selling medical devices or similar.
  • Educational background in relevant fields.
  • Experience with GI, HPB, IR sales is preferred.

Describe the role:

We are looking for talented Business Development Manager. Help us deliver on our mission of “Creating Value By Helping People” through improving clinical outcomes and reducing the cost of care by promoting and selling Q3 Medical´s world leading biodegradable technology. We only want self-driven high achievers who will sell our products direct to hospitals and doctors across the United Kingdom.

The role requires you to be present in the Hospital Theatres 80% of the time where you will passionately demonstrate the company’s product advantages for the patients, care givers, and insurance providers through passionate product presentations and demonstrations. 80% of your time is expected to be spent in theatres and meetings with doctors, nursing staff, purchasing managers, and financial administration, while the other 20% would be spent at relevant trade shows or at the home office educating physicians and providing great experiences for hospitals about how amazing the products are for their patients and for reducing the total cost of care.

What is the Day Job:

  • Driving New Business-calling on NHS Hospitals in the territory. Having the ability to navigate NHS hospitals and perform in services for clinicians and staff. Included in this will be navigating the GI, IR, and HPB Surgical Suites.
  • Servicing and Protecting Existing Business-continual support and interaction with your KOL’s, tracking orders and sales volume of your customers. Will also look to expand indications and volumes of orders.
  • Technical Backup for users translating product benefits into clinical benefits.
  • Support Local and International Sales Team and AMG GI Colleagues.
  • Identify and document sales activities in your weekly reporting.
  • Professional attention to communications with customers and colleagues via email, virtual calls, and other forms of communications.

What You Need:

  • 2-3+ Years selling medical devices or similar industries like pharmaceutical within NHS system
  • Third Level (Level 8/9) Education or relevant experience
  • A talented relationship manager with the ability to build and manage large networks
  • Ideally you will have GI, HPB, and/or IR sales experience
  • Fluent in English, German and/or Chinese is a bonus
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and computer skills
  • Experience in sales force CRM is beneficial
  • Willingness to travel is required
