Job description

Telecom Infrastructure Partners (TIP) is a leading global telecommunications and digital infrastructure investment firm. We operate in 16 countries and are backed by leading institutional investors, DigitalBridge and Swiss Life Asset Managers, with over $1.5 billion committed to infrastructure.

TIP acts as a trusted commercial partner to property owners who host structures such as mobile (cell) sites or rooftop antennas. We provide upfront lease payments and professionally manage agreements, giving owners financial security, reducing risk, and handling the long‑term complexities of their leases.

We also work closely with telecom operators and infrastructure companies, offering reliable, structured access to network sites under clear, professionally managed agreements. This approach allows operators to focus on building and operating networks, while we manage lease administration and complexity.

Our work sits at the intersection of finance, telecom, and real estate, and at the heart of it all is our commitment to long‑term partnerships built on trust, transparency, and value.

Our Culture and Values

We’re a company in motion. Like many growing businesses, things move fast and not everything is fully refined. We're building processes, shaping systems, improving how we work, and learning as we go. It’s not always perfect, but that’s where the opportunity lies in making a meaningful impact and helping to shape what TIP becomes next.

  • We Put People First.
  • We Act with Authenticity.
  • We Act with Integrity.

We’re focused on building a culture that supports both pace and progress. That means putting strong foundations in place, being clear on our values, and creating an environment where people can do their best work with trust, autonomy, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement.

How You Will Contribute

As a Business Development Manager at TIP, you’ll be responsible for sourcing and closing deals with property owners who host telecom infrastructure. That means identifying potential clients, building trust, and helping them understand the benefits of turning lease income into upfront capital.

This is a commercially focused role where your success depends on your ability to build relationships, offer credible guidance, and manage deals from first contact through to close.

In this role, you will:

  • Own and grow a regional territory within the UK, managing your own pipeline of prospects.
  • Identify and approach new leads through research, outreach, and referrals.
  • Build rapport with landowners and institutions, offering clear, honest advice.
  • Present and negotiate offers, handling questions and objections with confidence.
  • Review lease and legal documents to identify risks, obligations, and value.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Legal, Underwriting, and Operations to progress deals.
  • Keep accurate records in our CRM and manage activity across your portfolio.
  • Stay informed on market trends and apply insights to shape your strategy.
  • Advise property owners on financial decisions and lead deals that have tangible, measurable impact on their assets and our business.
About You

This role would suit someone who:

  • Has experience in field based, client‑facing, results‑driven roles (e.g. real estate, business development, account management, sales, recruitment).
  • Communicates clearly and builds trust quickly with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Works independently, takes ownership, and delivers results while being a collaborative team player.
  • Can stay organised and manage multiple priorities.
  • Is curious, adaptable, and open to feedback.
  • Thrives in a collaborative, dynamic, and supportive environment.
  • Is comfortable with some regional travel.
It would be a bonus if you have:
  • Familiarity with legal, financial, or investment processes.
  • Experience engaging with both private landowners and institutional decision‑makers.
  • An understanding of the Electronic Communications Code (ECC) 2017.
Why Join TIP?

Working at TIP means joining a growing international business with strong local roots. We want our people to thrive, both professionally and personally, and we offer a package designed to support that.

  • Performance‑based commission
  • Hybrid working model, with connection to your nearest local office (Shrewsbury) and travel within your assigned regional area.
  • Opportunities for professional development, including structured training and on‑the‑job learning.
  • Career growth potential in the UK and across our international teams.
  • A collaborative and inclusive workplace built on trust, transparency, and respect.
  • The chance to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and expanding industry.
Our Commitment to You

Thank you for considering TIP. We appreciate your interest and aim to respond to all applicants within two weeks. Due to high volumes, individual feedback may not always be possible, but we’re grateful for your time and encourage you to stay connected and consider future opportunities with us.

TIP is an equal opportunities employer committed to building a diverse, inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities.
