Disrupt Talent in London is seeking a Business Development Manager for Live Events to lead consultative, relationship-led sales with a two‑days-in-office hybrid model.
You will proactively generate leads, manage a long-term pipeline, and collaborate with leadership to grow the new-business function, selling concepts and services to major clients.
Business Development Manager - Live Events - Conference & Congress
Hybrid - London 2 days in office - Central Lond
Salary £60,000-£70,000 DoE + company bonus + commission tied to results across the sales cycle.
Our client is one of the UK's most respected live events agencies, with a long-standing reputation for delivering world-class conferences, exhibitions, and brand experiences for an impressive portfolio of UK and international clients. Renowned for creativity, strategic thinking and flawless delivery, they're a trusted partner to major organisations across a range of sectors.
Combining the agility of a boutique agency with the capability and credibility of a well-established market leader, this is a business that consistently delivers exceptional experiences and continues to invest in its growth, people and future talent.
They're now growing their new‑business function and looking for a genuine hunter to help drive that next phase. This isn't a smile-and-dial, transactional sales role, it's consultative and relationship-led, and sales cycles here can run up to a year or more, so you'll need to be comfortable playing the long game and building pipeline steadily rather than chasing quick wins.
We're keen to hear from people with a strong hunter background from event services, advertising, media, or other service/consultancy-led sales environments where long, complex sales cycles are the norm.
If you've sold concepts or services rather than products, you're commercially savvy, innovative on the socials and AI, and you're used to a patient, strategic approach rather than a short transactional one, this could be a great fit.
