Business Development Manager – FX | London

Our client, a leading innovator in the FX and payments industry, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team in London. This permanent role is ideal for a professional with min 2 years of experience in business development within FX, FinTech, or financial services. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving new business acquisition and fostering strong client relationships to maximize growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in the FX and payments market.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, prospective clients, and areas for expansion.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored pitches, proposals, and presentations to clients.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact, addressing client needs and providing FX solutions.
  • Monitor client performance and satisfaction, identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Strategic Contribution

  • Work closely with senior leadership to align business development efforts with company goals.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market trends and client feedback.
  • Track and report key sales metrics, including pipeline activity and revenue forecasts.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Min 2 years of experience in business development, ideally within FX, FinTech, or financial services.
  • Proven success in driving new business acquisition and managing client accounts.
  • Strong understanding of FX products, solutions, and client needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a consistent track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
