Cathedral Appointments is recruiting on behalf of a well-established IT managed services provider for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join its growing sales team. The business partners with organisations ranging from SMEs to large enterprises, acting as a long-term strategic technology partner rather than a one-off supplier. This new-business role is central to its growth plans, bringing new clients on board through recurring managed service agreements.
This is a technical, consultative sales role focused entirely on winning new clients. You will build your own pipeline through self-generated prospecting as well as leads from marketing activity, then guide prospects from first conversation through to signed contract. The role suits someone with a proven track record in IT or managed services sales who enjoys understanding how businesses operate, uncovering the real problems they face, and shaping solutions that deliver lasting value. You will be supported by technical colleagues, but will need enough technical understanding to discuss solutions credibly with business and IT decision-makers.
If you are a driven IT sales professional looking to build a long-term career with a business that values genuine client partnerships, we would love to hear from you.
