We specialise in air-supported structures, fixed fabric buildings, and other bespoke shelter solutions across the UK and Ireland. Our team brings a unique blend of creativity, technical ability, and industry experience to deliver high-performance structures in sectors such as Industrial, Defence, Aviation/Port Authority & Sport.

Responsibilities

As Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in expanding Rocklyn’s presence in the market. You’ll be responsible for generating new business, nurturing relationships, and driving revenue growth, aligned with our strategic goals. Working closely with the wider sales team and senior management team, your efforts will be instrumental in positioning Rocklyn as a leader in the specialist structures market.

You will also be responsible for the following duties:

  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, outreach, and networking
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective clients
  • Understand complex customer requirements and translate them into tailored solutions
  • Attend client meetings and site visits to gather detailed briefs
  • Deliver persuasive technical presentations and proposals
  • Provide client feedback to the internal team and guide follow-up actions

What skills and experience are we looking for?

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable professional with the following attributes:

  • Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within construction, engineering, or specialist structures
  • Ability to manage multiple leads and projects simultaneously
  • Experience identifying and engaging potential clients
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Active listening and consultative selling approach
  • Comfortable using Excel, email, CRM systems, and virtual meeting platforms

  • UK driving licence (essential)
