Job summary

Experian in Nottingham is seeking a Business Development Executive in Growth Markets. This 100% outbound role generates, progresses and closes new business opportunities across Experian's data and software portfolio.

You will collaborate with marketing, SDRs and internal stakeholders to identify customer challenges and deliver value-led conversations that drive revenue through pipeline management and opportunity execution.

Qualifications

• Outbound B2B sales experience within a new business environment.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales, revenue and pipeline targets.
• Experience guiding opportunities from prospecting through to close.
• Strong questioning, listening and negotiation skills.
• Proficient with CRM systems to manage forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain understanding of Experian's products and propositions, articulating their value to prospective customers.
• Generate and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and cold calling.
• Build relationships with partners and decision-makers, influencing buying decisions across the Experian portfolio.
• Lead opportunities from initial qualification through to contract signature, delivering value-led conversations.
• Build business cases, proposals and commercial recommendations aligned to customer goals.
• Maintain Salesforce records, forecast opportunities and ensure CRM data quality.
• Achieve or exceed activity, pipeline, ACV and revenue targets.
• Utilise Salesforce, Gong and LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospecting and tracking.
• Collaborate with Product, Propositions, SDR and wider sales teams to provide customer insights.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Experian's Go To Market division reporting into the Sales Manager as a Business Development Executive within Growth Markets. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated sales professional looking to develop their career within a high-growth, target-driven environment.

This is a 100% outbound sales roles where you will generate, progress, and close new business opportunities across Experian's portfolio. Working with marketing, SDRs and internal stakeholders, the BDE will identify customer challenges, deliver value-led sales conversations and drive revenue growth through pipeline management and opportunity execution.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with important partners and decision-makers, influencing buying decisions and maximising opportunities across the Experian portfolio.
• You will lead opportunities from initial qualification through to contract signature, delivering value-led sales conversations throughout the sales cycle.
• Build business cases, proposals and commercial recommendations aligned to customer goals.
• Maintain Salesforce records, forecast opportunities and ensure CRM data quality.
• Achieve or exceed activity, pipeline, ACV and revenue targets.
• Utilise sales and prospecting tools including Salesforce, Gong and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Collaborate with Product, Proposition, SDR and wider sales teams to provide customer insights, competitor intelligence and support successful customer outcomes.

Requirements

• Outbound B2B sales experience within a new business environment with proven experience selling Data or Software Solutions.
• Experience achieving or exceeding sales, revenue and pipeline targets.
• Experience managing opportunities through a complete sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
• Prospecting, pipeline generation and opportunity management skills.
• Excellent questioning, listening, negotiation and objection-handling skills.
• You will have the ability to engage, influence and build relationships with clients and stakeholders at multiple levels, both internally and externally.
• Experience using CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) to manage opportunities and maintain accurate forecasts.
• Experience analysing customer needs and align solutions to challenges.
• Experience using sales enablement and prospecting tools such as Gong and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
