Location: Warrington
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (OTE £45,000)
Role: Permanent | Full-time
Good with people? Love winning new business? Know how to turn a conversation into an opportunity?
We're looking for a confident, driven and naturally personable Business Development Manager to join a growing business in Warrington.
For this one, we're not looking for someone from a specific industry or with a little black book of contacts. We're much more interested in how you sell, how you communicate and what motivates you.
You could already be working in sales, business development, recruitment, account management or another customer-facing commercial role. What matters is that you enjoy speaking to people, aren't afraid to pick up the phone, can build relationships quickly and get a genuine buzz from turning a new conversation into new business.
As Business Development Manager, you'll have the freedom to build relationships, create opportunities and develop a healthy pipeline of new business.
This is a varied role where you won't spend every day sitting behind a desk. You'll be speaking with prospective customers, getting out to meetings, understanding what they need and finding the right commercial solution.
You'll be responsible for:
The right Business Development Manager will be someone who is naturally proactive. You won't need to be chased to make the next call or follow up an opportunity.
We'd love to speak to someone who:
Previous sales experience would be beneficial, but you don't need to come from a particular sector. Attitude, personality, drive and the ability to build relationships are just as important.
This could be a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Manager who wants more ownership, or for someone earlier in their sales career who is ready to step up and prove what they can do.
If you're the type of person who sees an opportunity and thinks "I'm going to give them a call" rather than waiting for the phone to ring, we'd love to hear from you.
