Job Description:

Business Development Executive – Clean Energy Sector

Permanent | Full-Time | Edinburgh or Glasgow Office

Are you a proactive Business Development Executive seeking your next career opportunity? We're working with a well-established legal services firm that is expanding its focus within the Clean Energy sector.

This role will support both the strategic and operational delivery of business development initiatives, working closely with senior leadership in the sector.

What you'll do

  • Support the planning and delivery of business development and marketing initiatives aligned with sector strategy
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and growth opportunities within the clean energy space
  • Work alongside senior stakeholders to raise the sector group’s profile by promoting expertise and achievements
  • Contribute to formal proposals, including RFP responses and other new business opportunities
  • Develop and update business development collateral, including professional biographies, case studies, and web content
  • Support content creation for newsletters, targeted client communications, and digital campaigns
  • Manage digital content across multiple channels, such as websites, email campaigns, and social media
  • Coordinate client-facing and internal events from planning through execution
  • Maintain and analyze data in the CRM system to support campaign effectiveness
  • Build strong internal relationships to ensure alignment and successful execution of initiatives
  • Contribute to broader marketing and business development projects across the team

What you’ll need

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 2 years' experience in a business development or marketing role, ideally within professional services
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is advantageous
