Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Business Development Director to lead early engagement with customers and coordinate cross-functional efforts across the Data Centre ecosystem in the UK/Europe. You will shape commercial positioning and drive qualified opportunities for handover to the relevant business line.

The role requires building senior external and internal relationships, developing market insights, and contributing to go-to-market strategy. Fluent English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business, engineering, economics, or related field.
• Experience in business development, strategic sales, key account management or go-to-market roles in electrical infrastructure or power solutions.
• Experience with complex solution selling.
• Established network within the data centre ecosystem including developers, operators, EPC contractors, integrators or OEMs.
• Fluent English.

Profile:

As Business Development Director, you will establish early commercial relationships, develop qualified opportunities and conduct a coordinated approach across business lines.

You will manage front-end business development across the Data Centre ecosystem, engaging customers and partners before formal tendering begins.

By understanding customer priorities and coordinating internal stakeholders, you will help shape commercial positioning and prepare qualified opportunities for handover to the relevant business line. You will also contribute to the company’s Data Centre go-to-market strategy and provide structured insights into market dynamics, customer needs, competitors and portfolio gaps.
