Job summary

Simplyhealth is seeking a Business Resilience Manager to ensure the organisation can respond to, recover from and adapt to disruption, protecting people, customers and services across the UK. You'll develop resilience frameworks, policies and governance, working with Technology and wider business to embed resilience into operations.

Reporting to the Head of Cyber Security & Business Resilience, you will lead BCMS and Operational Resilience initiatives, run scenario testing, disaster recovery

Qualifications

• Experience in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience or Risk Management.
• Understanding of BC/OR frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Experience performing Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and building BC Plans (BCP).
• Knowledge of Disaster Recovery planning and integration with resilience strategies.
• Experience investigating incidents and supporting major incident or crisis management.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
• Ability to present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience building relationships and influencing stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve BCMS.
• Manage BC policies, plans, BIAs and governance activities.
• Develop Operational Resilience frameworks aligned to standards.
• Conduct resilience mapping across people, technology, suppliers and facilities.
• Lead scenario testing and resilience exercises.
• Coordinate annual disaster recovery testing and recovery planning for tech services.
• Support incident management and post-incident reporting.
• Produce resilience metrics and Board-level reporting.
• Deliver training and awareness programmes on resilience.
• Collaborate with business and tech teams to embed resilience in decision-making.
