Function:

The Business Consultant will work for the customer and the Itineris project and service delivery teams, responsible for the success of the UMAX solution by ensuring customer needs are managed from a business and market regulations perspective. They will focus on providing relevant business and market guidance to application consultants and support mediation decisions with the customer Business.

The role is based in Ghent (Sint-Denijs-Westrem), UK, or EIR and requires experience of the Irish market, both ROI and NIE, with ERP implementation experience being a plus.

UMAX is our cloud-based software solution for water and energy utilities, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365.

As our Business Consultant with market experience (EIR), you will…

• Be the link between Business and IT as a business-focused analyst.
• Manage customer expectations and support functional experts in translating business needs into functional requirements.
• Attend workshops and meetings with clients onsite.
• Provide feedback to product development, sales, and marketing.
• Contribute to the evolution of the UMAX solution for market readiness.
• Collaborate closely and develop strong relationships with clients, sales, pre-sales, product, and project teams.
• Participate in project progress meetings and proactively identify risks.
• Deliver high-quality consulting services to customers.
• Work with colleagues to upskill and understand industry best practices for the Irish energy market.
• Continuously develop your knowledge within the Utility market, especially in Ireland (ROI & NIE), and share this knowledge.

What you bring

• Strong analytical skills (master’s degree or equivalent experience).
• In-depth knowledge of the Irish energy market.
• At least 5 years’ experience as a Business/Functional Consultant in large ERP/CRM projects.
• Expertise in business requirements and understanding business processes.
• Skills in Business Process Management.
• Excellent English communication skills, with Dutch as a plus.
• Willingness to travel depending on project phases.
• A team player with a problem-solving mentality.
• Hands-on approach, proactive, and quality-driven.
• Customer-oriented and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
