Job Description:

Function:

The Business Consultant works with customers and Itineris project teams, responsible for the success of the UMAX solution by managing customer needs from a business and market regulations perspective. The role focuses on providing relevant business and market guidance to application consultants and supporting mediation decisions with the customer’s business.

The role is based in Ghent (Sint-Denijs-Westrem), UK or EIR, requiring experience in the Irish market (ROI and NIE) and ERP implementation experience is a plus.

UMAX is our cloud-based software solution for water and energy utilities, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, automating business processes and improving customer engagement.

As our Business Consultant with market experience (EIR), you will:

• Serve as the link between Business and IT as a business-focused analyst.
• Manage customer expectations and support functional experts to ensure business needs are translated into functional requirements.
• Attend workshops and meetings onsite with clients.
• Provide feedback to product development, sales, and marketing teams.
• Contribute to the evolution of the UMAX solution to enhance market readiness.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, sales, pre-sales, product, and project teams.
• Participate in project progress meetings and proactively identify risks.
• Deliver high-quality consulting services to new and existing customers.
• Work with colleagues to upskill and understand best practices in the Irish energy market (ROI & NIE).
• Continuously expand your knowledge of the Utility market in Ireland and transfer knowledge to others.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills (master’s degree or equivalent experience).
• In-depth knowledge of the Irish energy market.
• At least +5 years’ experience as a Business/Functional Consultant in large ERP/CRM projects.
• Expertise in identifying business requirements and understanding customer processes.
• Skilled in Business Process Management.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Willing to travel as needed.
• Team player with problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on, proactive, quality-driven.
• Customer-oriented with adaptability to fast-paced environments.
