Job summary

Intact Insurance is seeking a Business Architect to shape the target operating model and drive the transformation of its Specialty Lines business. You will work with business leaders, transformation teams and technology stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into capabilities, processes and data architectures.

You'll design governance, lead capability mapping, and develop strategic roadmaps while engaging senior stakeholders to deliver sustainable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in business architecture and target operating model design.
• Ability to model business capabilities and drive process improvement.
• Experience with transformation roadmap development and executive communication.

The Business Architect is responsible for defining, shaping and driving the target business architecture that enables the successful transformation of the Specialty Lines business. Working closely with business leaders, transformation teams and technology stakeholders, the role creates a clear line of sight from strategic objectives to the capabilities, operating model, processes, organisation, data and technology required to deliver sustainable business outcomes.

You'll make an impact by:

• Business Architecture framework and governance standards
• Enterprise capability map for Specialty Lines
• Business architecture principles and design standards
• Strategic business architecture assessments and recommendations

Your skills and experience:

• Business architecture and target operating model design
• Business capability modelling and process improvement
• Transformation roadmap development and strategic planning
• Stakeholder engagement and executive communication
• Strong knowledge of Specialty Insurance, including underwriting, claims and distribution
• Business process and architecture modelling tools (e.g. LeanIX, Ardoq, Signavio, Visio)
• Understanding of insurance platforms, data and digital technologies
