Cardiff Council is seeking a Business Analyst to lead on reviewing and improving procurement procedures across the Ardal collaborative service for Cardiff, Monmouthshire, Torfaen and the Vale of Glamorgan. Ardal is a new procurement collaboration across the four local authorities serving the people and communities of Cardiff, Monmouthshire, Torfaen and the Vale of Glamorgan. Annual spend on goods, services and works across the four authorities is over £1 billion per annum.
The Business Analyst is responsible for leading on the review, development and implementation of procurement procedures and processes across the Ardal* collaborative procurement service with an aim to improve consistency and efficiency and ensure that legislative and policy requirements are embedded in practice.
The Business Analyst will undertake the analysis of information, data, and processes to identify opportunities for business improvement and design business changes to meet opportunities for business improvement.
The Business Analyst will help support the development of online Resources and deliver Learning and Development activity.
*Ardal is the name for the procurement service run by Cardiff Council delivering procurement services to Cardiff Council, Monmouthshire, Torfaen and the Vale of Glamorgan Councils Duties and Responsibilities.
