Description du poste

Business Analyst - Crisis Management & Resilience - £600-£650 per day - Inside IR35 - Remote with occasional site attendance - 6 months initial contract.

We are recruiting for an experienced Business Analyst to support a major UK nuclear new build organisation in establishing its Enterprise IT Crisis Management and Resilience capability.

Working alongside the Crisis Management Lead, you will support the development of governance frameworks, processes, operating models and ways of working across Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Cyber Crisis Management and Technical Recovery.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of a business-critical capability within a complex, highly regulated environment, helping establish the foundations for effective organisational resilience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct discovery activities to document existing processes, governance arrangements and accountabilities.
  • Identify gaps, overlaps and dependencies across resilience disciplines.
  • Gather, analyse and document stakeholder requirements, supporting maturity assessments and gap analysis.
  • Develop process maps, operational procedures, RACI matrices and responsibility models.
  • Support the design and documentation of governance structures, escalation pathways and operating procedures.
  • Organise and facilitate workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders, capturing actions, risks, decisions and dependencies.
  • Produce presentations, decision papers, progress reports and governance packs.
  • Maintain RAID logs, programme documentation and issue registers.
  • Track progress against agreed deliverables and coordinate stakeholder reviews.
  • Support assurance and operational readiness activities as the capability develops.
Experience Required

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Proven Business Analysis experience within IT, service management, operational resilience or business transformation environments.
  • Strong process mapping, requirements gathering and documentation capabilities.
  • Experience developing governance documentation, operating model artefacts and RACI matrices.
  • Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across technical teams, business functions and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience identifying process gaps, dependencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured documentation and management presentations.
Desirable Experience
  • Previous involvement in establishing new organisational capabilities, governance structures or operating models (greenfield environments).
  • Exposure to Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Cyber Crisis Management or IT Disaster Recovery.
  • Knowledge of ITIL, operational resilience or relevant governance frameworks.
  • Experience supporting large-scale IT transformation or organisational change programmes.
  • Previous experience working within nuclear, energy, critical national infrastructure or other highly regulated sectors.
Security Clearance

Candidates must be eligible to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance. Existing SC clearance is not required, and applications are welcomed from candidates who have not previously held clearance.

The Opportunity
  • This role offers the opportunity to help shape a new enterprise-wide resilience capability rather than simply maintain existing processes.
  • You will work alongside experienced stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical processes, governance structures and operational documentation, helping establish a consistent and coordinated approach to crisis management and resilience across Enterprise IT.
  • If you are an experienced Business Analyst with strong process improvement, governance and stakeholder engagement skills, we would welcome your application.
