Job summary

Consult is seeking an experienced SC Cleared Technical Business Analyst to join a complex, multi-supplier technology programme delivering critical business and operational capabilities. The role combines requirements engineering with modern architectures, APIs, data platforms, and cloud-native environments.

You will lead workshops, elicit and model requirements, ensure end-to-end traceability, and coordinate across multiple suppliers to deliver value across the programme lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within complex technology programmes.
• Strong requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation skills.
• Experience working within multi-supplier delivery environments.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing requirements traceability and governance.
• Strong understanding of systems analysis, process modelling, integration architectures, APIs, data exchange solutions, and Kubernetes/containerised platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops with users, SMEs, stakeholders, and suppliers to capture operational requirements and business needs.
• Develop and maintain use cases, user journeys, workflows, acceptance criteria, and operational outcomes.
• Elicit, analyse, document, and prioritise both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Maintain end-to-end traceability from requirements through design, development, testing, and acceptance.
• Conduct impact assessments, gap analysis, and support governance and change control processes.
• Coordinate requirements across multiple suppliers, ensuring alignment and successful integration.
• Define requirements for APIs and integrations, data exchange services, data platforms, and containerised/Kubernetes environments.
• Review supplier deliverables against business and operational requirements.
• Support architecture, assurance, verification, validation, and acceptance activities.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, assumptions, and integration challenges.
• Produce key project artefacts including requirements specifications, workflow models, traceability matrices, use case catalogues, and assessment reports.

The Opportunity

This role will suit a Business Analyst who combines strong requirements engineering skills with a solid understanding of modern technical architectures, integrations, APIs, data platforms, and cloud-native environments. You'll work closely with users, SMEs, architects, suppliers, and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet operational needs and are delivered successfully across the programme lifecycle.
