Job summary

Canopius, a global specialty insurer, seeks an experienced Business Analyst to join the Change team in Manchester. You will define problems, translate business needs into actionable requirements and work with technology as an enabler to deliver transformation from idea to implementation.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across One Delivery, shape reusable processes, and enable informed decision-making with data and insights. This role offers hybrid working and a clear path to impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in Business Analysis within insurance or financial services.
• Proven ability to elicit requirements and create analysis artefacts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrable BA skills including problem solving and prioritisation.
• Experience delivering projects in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive analysis for meaningful transformation, delivering value through process improvements.
• Facilitate workshops to uncover needs, map current processes and identify pain points.
• Translate strategic vision into clear requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate with Design and Architecture to shape robust business solutions.
• Support decision-making with data, analysis, and recommendations.
• Contribute to change readiness, training materials and adoption activities.
• Measure benefits and continuously improve outcomes.
