TekWissen Group is recruiting a Business Analyst for a 14-month hybrid role in Filton, UK. You will join the Landing Gear Operations team, partnering with engineering colleagues to drive workload and workforce planning, improve performance metrics, and deliver robust reporting and dashboards for leadership.

The role focuses on consolidating plans, monitoring deviations, and supporting continuous process improvements across projects.

Qualifications

• Solid background in Business Management, Project Management, and/or Business Analysis.
• Experience in planning, performance measurement and process optimisation.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Responsabilités

• Consolidate and maintain the Landing Gear engineering functions' annual and multi-year workload, resource and financial plans.
• Monitor deviations, manage change requests and realign forecasts.
• Performance Tracking & Analytics: Analyse KPIs and operational metrics.
• Build visually intuitive reports and dashboards for leadership data-driven decisions.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate current processes to identify pain points and implement changes.
• Provide guidance on core business operations and project management best practices.

About the Role

• Department: Systems Centre of Competence / Landing Gear Operations
• Client is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Landing Gear Operations team in Filton!
• Sitting at the intersection of engineering excellence and operational strategy, the Landing Gear Operations team delivers operational management solutions for project & performance management, resource management, and people development to enable the Landing Gear engineering function to deliver commitments across all client Commercial Programmes, as part of the Systems Centre of Competence.
• In this role, you will partner directly with our engineering community to drive robust workload & workforce planning, optimise functional & project performance, and deliver continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Workload & Workforce Planning: Consolidate and maintain the Landing Gear engineering functions' annual and multi-year workload, resource and financial plans.
• Monitor deviations, manage change requests and realign forecasts.
• Performance Tracking & Analytics: Analyse and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
• Build visually intuitive reports and dashboards to provide leadership with accurate and actionable data to make informed business decisions.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate existing operational and project management processes to identify pain points and the need for change.
• Support the definition and implementation of improvements across the Landing Gear engineering team.
• Guidance for Engineering: Provide guidance and support to the engineering community on core business operations and project management best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Business & Project Management: Solid background in Business Management, Project Management, Business Analysis, Project Controlling, and/or Business Performance Improvement.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication: Proven ability to build trust and energy, navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, and translate complex data into actionable management insights.
• Analytical & Digital Tooling: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in modern digital tools, reporting platforms, and data visualisation.
• Adaptability & Drive: An autonomous, curious mindset with a track record of challenging standard ways of working to introduce innovative operational solutions.

Desirable Experience

• Prior experience within aerospace or complex engineering environments.
• Familiarity with formal project management control methodologies, Lean/Six Sigma principles or digital transformation initiatives.
