Responsibilities

• Consolidate and maintain workload, resource and financial plans for Landing Gear engineering functions; monitor deviations, manage change requests and realign forecasts.
• Analyse and report on KPIs and operational metrics; build dashboards to provide leadership with accurate data for decision making.
• Evaluate existing processes to identify pain points and drive improvements across the Landing Gear engineering team.
• Provide guidance on core business operations and project management best practices to the engineering community.
• Proven ability to build trust with stakeholders and communicate complex data effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in modern digital tools and data visualisation.

Business Analyst (BBH18895) Filton, England

Salary: GBP42.39 - GBP42.39 per hour

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Business Analyst on an initial 13-month contract based in Filton. As the Business Analyst, you will partner directly with the engineering community, supporting workload and workforce planning, optimising project and functional performance, and driving continuous process improvement.

Working at the intersection of engineering and operational strategy, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of commitments across multiple commercial programmes, helping to improve operational efficiency, streamline processes and support the ongoing development of the engineering function.

Pay: £42.39 per hour via Umbrella

Location: Filton

Contract: Monday- Friday, 35 Hours per week, 13 months (possible extension)

IR35 Status: Inside

Security Clearance: BPSS

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and maintain the Landing Gear engineering functions’ annual and multi-year workload, resource and financial plans. Monitor deviations, manage change requests and realign forecasts.
• Analyse and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics. Build visually intuitive reports and dashboards to provide leadership with accurate and actionable data to make informed business decisions.
• Evaluate existing operational and project management processes to identify pain points and the need for change. Support the definition and implementation of improvements across the Landing Gear engineering team.
• Provide guidance and support to the engineering community on core business operations and project management best practices
• Solid background in Business Management, Project Management, Business Analysis, Project Controlling, and/or Business Performance Improvement.
• Proven ability to build trust and energy, navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, and translate complex data into actionable management insights.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in modern digital tools, reporting platforms, and data visualisation.
