Our Business Change Team develops capabilities across our people, processes, and systems to deliver measurable business benefits. We work on diverse projects, from system upgrades to tactical solutions, shaping the future of the London Market. The team comprises Product Managers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts, working closely with Underwriting, Operations, and Technology teams.

The Role

As a Business Analyst, you will conduct research and analysis to develop solutions to business problems, and help embed changes into our operations. You may act as Product Owner for specific features or products, focusing on business processes or user journeys.

What You’ll Be Doing In The Role

• Business analysis: developing capabilities, conducting research, and working with stakeholders to define problems and opportunities.
• Requirements engineering: eliciting, analyzing, and documenting functional and non-functional requirements, and translating them into solutions.
• Business process development: understanding, documenting, and improving business processes.
• Change Management: assessing impacts, supporting training, user adoption, and testing processes.
• Data Management: collaborating with data teams on analysis, recovery, and security.
• Benefits Management: tracking and managing project benefits and performance indicators.
• Leadership: coaching less experienced team members on analysis best practices.

The Person

The ideal candidate is inquisitive, enjoys solving complex issues, and focuses on delivering tangible benefits. Comfortable with ambiguity, they help teams navigate challenges effectively.

• Experience in medium-sized projects as a Business Analyst
• Experience working in a matrix environment with multiple teams and third-party suppliers
• Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira
• Strong analytical skills focused on customer outcomes
• Business process design and implementation experience
• Advanced MS Office and Visio skills
• Excellent workshop facilitation skills

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Lloyds London Market
• Business Analysis qualification (e.g., IIBA)
• Experience with data science or machine learning teams
