Overall Purpose of The Job

The role will form a part of the Strategy and Corporate Development team, assisting the V.Ships CEO, Head of Strategic Projects and Group Chief Strategy Officer. The main assignments will include supporting the V.Ships CEO in running the business (maintain action lists, supporting on key projects), analysing and getting insight from data (financial, commercial, etc.), support in creation of materials for high-level meetings (Board Meetings, client visits, leadership meetings), updating and streamlining reports and general support on strategic/M&A projects.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Support the V.Ships CEO in key actions to run and develop the business.
Support the V.Ships CEO and Strategy/Transformation team in project work.
Support in the creation of slides for a variety of high-level meetings such as Board material, customer pitch decks, leadership meetings, etc.
Dive into commercial/sales data and deliver actionable insight to the V.Ships CEO and Chief Strategy Officer.
Support in streamlining key commercial reports, together with the Finance team.
Support on Strategic/M&A projects.
Support Chief Strategy Officer, V.Ships CEO and other senior leaders on ad hoc analysis and tasks.
Support in translation of relevant business needs into a project approach; defining, documenting, and implementing key initiatives that directly support our strategy.
Be a part of the central strategy team, which is a key hub for all strategic initiatives working closely with members of the Executive Team.
Take on more ownership and responsibility as time passes.

Essential

Flexibility and ability to work with various relevant departments across the company.
Have good oversight and the ability to push things forward.
Ability to work at different levels of detail (from strategic to operational) and able to concisely summarise complex issues for executive management.
Experienced user of MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint).
Good English in speaking, reading and writing.
