Job summary

Brio Partners is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a national digital health program on a 6-month contract, with hybrid working Leeds/London.

You will own requirements, write user stories, run workshops, map processes, and support UAT and transition to BAU. Strong stakeholder engagement and agile delivery experience are essential.

Business Analyst: Digital Health (Contract)

Location: Leeds/London (hybrid, minimum 2 days per month)

Rate: £400-£425 per day (IR35 status TBC)

Duration: 6 months, with a strong likelihood of extension

The Role

Brio Partners is working with a national health organisation to find an experienced Business Analyst to join a multidisciplinary digital team delivering health products and services. You will own requirements definition, story writing, stakeholder engagement and process improvement, and help the team move towards sustainable live service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, validate and prioritise business, user and service requirements, turning them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Map current and future-state processes, identifying gaps, dependencies and improvement opportunities.
• Plan and facilitatе workshops with product, engineering, user research, clinical, cyber, governance, operational and supplier stakeholders.
• Work with User Researchers to turn user needs into business and technical requirements.
• Support options appraisal, impact assessment and MVP decisions.
• Maintain traceability from needs through to testing and delivery, and support UAT.
• Manage decisions, risks, issues and dependencies through agreed governance.
• Support supplier onboarding and cross-organisation engagement.
• Produce clear documentation, including process models, implementation guidance and onboarding materials.
• Help establish repeatable practices and support the transition to BAU.

Essential Experience

• Proven Business Analyst experience in a digital, technology, data or product delivery environment.
• Strong record of producing user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and impact assessments.
• Confident workshop facilitation and stakeholder management with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience supporting iterative or agile delivery, testing, implementation or service transition.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to separate user needs from proposed solutions.
• Technically aware, and comfortable discussing APIs, data flows, integrations and security with engineers and architects.

Desirable

• NHS, healthcare or public sector digital experience.
• Interoperability, API, data exchange or system integration projects.
• Supplier onboarding or governance forum experience.
• Jira, Confluence and Microsoft 365.
