Job summary

People’s Partnership in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to provide analytical leadership across programmes and projects within our Change portfolio, shaping initiative scope and enabling transformative change for a designated business unit, partnering with business and IT teams.

You will run workshops, elicit requirements, document user stories and acceptance criteria, and help build business cases.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a business analyst in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong knowledge of BABOK, Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing abilities.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading teams of analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analysis leadership across programmes and projects within the Change portfolio.
  • Shape initiative scope and enable successful delivery of transformative change for a designated business unit.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit, document, and validate requirements.
  • Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring clear communication.
  • Assist with development of business cases, process models, and user stories.
  • Ensure traceability and alignment of requirements throughout the lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and testers to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Support solution evaluation, vendor selection, and implementation activities.

What You'll Be Doing

The Business Analyst provides analytical leadership across programmes and projects within the Change portfolio, shaping initiative scope and enabling the successful delivery of transformative change for a designated business unit.

  • Provide analysis services to highly complex business problems and opportunities, identifying innovative solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Influence business strategy and scope by providing insights, recommendations, and thought leadership.
  • Support both Principal Business Analysts and the wider Analysis community, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the delivery function, business sponsors and cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements for large-scale projects and programs.
  • Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring clear communication and shared understanding.
  • Assist with the development of business cases, process models, customer journeys, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure traceability and alignment of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and testers to design and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Support solution evaluation, vendor selection, and implementation activities.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience as a business analyst, with a proven track record in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis frameworks (e.g., BABOK), methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), and tools.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing abilities.
  • Experience in mentoring, coaching, or leading teams of analysts.
