Job summary

Arriva Kent & Surrey Limited in Maidstone is offering a four-year Apprentice Bus Technician apprenticeship. You will inspect, diagnose, repair and test bus systems from various manufacturers, with practical hands-on training and mentoring at the Maidstone depot.

The programme combines on-the-job work with a level 3 Bus/Coach Technician qualification, featuring five-day blocks at a partner workshop and progression to a skilled engineer role alongside a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Inquisitive mindset with love for solving problems and getting hands dirty.
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Level 3 or Grace C minimum.
• Willingness to learn and develop practical technician skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and test bus systems and equipment.
• Work with diagnostic equipment and techniques on different manufacturers' buses.
• Support a team at Maidstone depot and learn through guided mentorship.
