Job summary

Arriva TrainCare in Milton Keynes is offering an Apprentice Mechanical-Electrical Bus Technician programme. Over four years you will be trained to inspect, diagnose, repair and test bus systems, working under an experienced team at the Milton Keynes depot.

The programme leads to a Bus and Coach Technician Level 3 with a Mech/Elec specialism, with training blocks at Wolverhampton and ongoing on-site mentoring.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) required.
• Apprenticeship leading to Bus and Coach Technician Level 3.
• 4-year programme with training blocks every 6 weeks at partner workshop in Wolverhampton.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection, diagnosis, repair and testing of bus systems.
• Work under supervision at Milton Keynes depot.
• Attend training blocks at Wolverhampton partner workshop.
