Job summary

Arriva Kent Thameside Limited is recruiting for an Apprentice Mechanical - Electrical Bus Technician at the Harlow depot. The four-year programme leads to a Bus and Coach Technician Level 3 qualification with a Mech/Elec specialism.

You’ll learn to inspect, diagnose, repair and test bus systems while working under supervision and guidance. The course runs in 5-day training blocks every 6 weeks at our partner workshop in Wolverhampton, providing hands-on practice and progression as you gain

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grace C/Level 3 as a minimum.
• An inquisitive mindset with a love for solving problems and getting hands dirty.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and test equipment and systems on buses from different manufacturers.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Work at Harlow depot with an experienced team providing mentoring and support.
