West Coast Motors (Glasgow) is seeking a Bus Shunter in Glasgow to move vehicles around the depot, prepare them for cleaning, refuelling and maintenance, and maintain high cleanliness standards across the fleet.

The role supports safe, reliable service with a permanent contract, full-time hours (39 per week) and shifts including evenings and weekends. Overtime is paid, with 6th day at time and a half, plus 30 days holidays and a company pension.

• Following all company health and safety procedures.
• Helping ensure vehicles are ready for the following day's service.

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Bus Shunter to join our team in Glasgow. This is an important role that helps ensure our buses are clean, safe and ready for service each day.

Working as part of our depot team, you will be responsible for moving vehicles around the depot, preparing them for cleaning, fuelling and maintenance, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness across our fleet. Your work will play a vital part in helping us deliver a safe and reliable service to our customers.

What you'll be doing

What we're looking for

• A full UK driving licence and either previous experience of shunting buses or other large vehicles, or a valid PCV driving licence with Category D entitlement.
• A strong commitment to safety and following procedures
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• A reliable and dependable approach to work
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
• The ability to carry out a role which involves regular walking, standing, bending and working both indoors and outdoors
