Job summary

West Coast Motors (Bute) on the Isle of Bute is seeking an experienced Bus Driver to join our team. You will operate modern vehicles on scheduled services, delivering a safe, friendly journey and excellent passenger service across local routes.

Based at Rothesay depot, this role offers full-time or part-time hours, flexible shift patterns and overtime opportunities. A PCV licence and tachograph card are required, with a safety-focused approach and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles on scheduled services and other allocated work.
• Deliver excellent customer service and a safe, comfortable journey for every passenger.
• Help connect local communities by getting customers to their destinations safely and on time.
• Handle cash and card payments accurately and responsibly where required.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects in line with company procedures.
• Provide travel information and assistance to customers when required.
• Work independently while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
• Represent West Coast Motors positively through driving standards and customer care.

We're looking for professional, customer-focused Bus Drivers to join our friendly team on the Isle of Bute. We have opportunities available on both a full-time and part-time basis.

Working on the Isle of Bute

Based at our depot in Rothesay, you'll help connect local communities across the Isle of Bute. Operating modern vehicles on some of Scotland's most scenic routes, you'll be part of a supportive local team in a varied role where no two days are the same.
