Job summary

Stagecoach Group Limited is seeking a hands-on PCV/HGV Technician to keep our low-emission buses on the road from the Taffs Well depot near Cardiff. You will maintain and service vehicles to DVSA standards, diagnose faults with modern tools, and perform both preventative and reactive maintenance.

The role requires City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 in PSV/HGV maintenance, a full UK driving licence, and a proactive safety-focused approach. Competitive pay with overtime is offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 in PSV/HGV maintenance.
• Hands-on servicing and repair experience in buses, coaches, trucks or HGVs preferred.
• Confident in using diagnostic tools and service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service buses to Stagecoach and DVSA standards.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools.
• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance including roadside repairs.
• Report defects and work safely and in line with policies.
• Support workshop team and junior members.
