Job summary

Stagecoach Fenstanton is hiring a Bus Engineering Technician to maintain and repair a modern fleet of buses and coaches. You’ll diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults and perform servicing and major component work in a safety‑driven depot environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 PSV/HGV Maintenance or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on experience with commercial vehicles.
• Confident using diagnostic equipment and fault-finding tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and repairing our fleet to DVSA and Stagecoach safety standards.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using modern diagnostic technology.
• Carrying out servicing, inspections, preventative maintenance and roadside repairs.
• Completing major mechanical work, including engine overhauls and component replacements.
• Sharing knowledge with apprentices and supporting the development of future engineers.
