KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability Sectors. The role of Bus Driver Trainer Assessor (Trainee or Qualified) is home/site based with hybrid travel.

Salary is £31,500 with full training provided to achieve the Trainer/Assessor award. The position is full-time and permanent, with essential criteria including PCV/CPC licences, 2+ years as a bus driver, and experience mentoring other drivers.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid PCV and CPC licences.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Bus Driver.
• Experience training/mentoring other bus drivers on the job.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and use of own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Train, assess and deliver Apprenticeship Standards in Passenger Transport Bus Driver at level 2.
• Record professional discussions on units/topics based on knowledge and research.
• Deliver classroom/group training and field-based assessments to learners.
• Manage your diary to ensure timely visits and reviews.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to learner’s needs.
• Work to learner review and completion timescales.

• Work to learner review and completion timescales.
