Job summary

Realise is seeking experienced transport professionals to become trainers for aspiring bus drivers. No teaching qualification is required — just strong industry experience and a passion to help others succeed. You will deliver structured learning across classroom and online environments, guiding apprentices toward End Point Assessment (EPA).

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging learning sessions (classroom and/or online).
• Tailor workshop content based on learners' assessments.
• Equip learners with knowledge, skills, and behaviours for apprenticeship and career.
• Prepare and mark learner work, provide constructive feedback and track progress.
• Support learners in building their portfolio of evidence for EPA.
• Coordinate with employers to confirm attendance and logistics.
• Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks to ensure compliance.

Whilst no two days are ever the same, you can expect to:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, inclusive learningand development sessions (classroom and/or online)
• Tailor workshop content using learners’ initial assessmentresults
• Equip learners with the knowledge, skills, and behavioursrequired for their apprenticeship and future career
• Prepare and mark learner work, providing constructivefeedback and tracking progress
• Support learners in building their portfolio of evidenceready for End Point Assessment (EPA)
• Schedule and conduct timely learner reviews, gatheringfeedback from relevant stakeholders
• Liaise with employers to confirm attendance and coordinateoperational requirements such as driver release
• Maintain accurate records and complete administrativetasks to ensure compliance
• Uphold high quality standards across all trainingactivities
• Build positive, professional relationships with learnersand employers to create a supportive learning environment

Where will I be based?

This is a hybrid role, with some of your time based at a depot, and the remainder working from home. This will be discussed with you further in your interview.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Strong knowledge of bus driving standards, safety, and customer service excellence
• Passionate about helping others succeed
• Delivers training that is engaging, inclusive, and high quality
• Highly organised and able to manage a varied workload
• Communicates clearly and builds strong working relationships
• Confident delivering training both face-to-face and online
• Holds relevant industry qualifications
• Has a full UK driving licence and access to their own transport

Desirable (but not essential — we’ll support you to achieve these):

• Teaching or assessing qualification
• Experience delivering structured training or workshops
