Job summary

National Express Limited is seeking a Mechanical Support to join our Birmingham Central Engineering team. You will assist with vehicle repair and ensure adherence to manufacturer standards and company procedures.

You should have a mechanical interest and relevant experience, plus a manual car driving licence and a PCV licence. A proactive approach and willingness to work shifts are essential to keep services on the road.

Qualifications

• Mechanical interest with previous repair experience.
• Must hold a manual car driving licence and a PCV licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage service duties through bus allocations, changeovers and garage plans.
• Carry out routine services including oil changes quickly and efficiently to manufacturer’s and specialist standards.
• Conduct wheel changes and repair minor defects as needed.
• Ensure all documentation is maintained according to Company procedures.
• Maintain good housekeeping and conform to Safety, Health, Environment and Fire Regulations.
