Job summary
National Express Limited in Walsall is recruiting multi-skilled PCV technicians to join our Engineering Team. Shift pattern: Monday - Friday 0700am - 1500pm.
As an engineering technician you will manage the overall maintenance of our vehicles including inspection, repair, diagnosis, accident repair and servicing, while supporting career progression through our engineering training team. You will work across electric and diesel vehicles using cutting-edge diagnostic technology as part of our
Qualifications
- IMI Level 3 Bus and Coach Engineering & Maintenance or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a large vehicle maintenance environment, especially electric vehicles.
- Full CAT D PCV licence or willingness to work towards it for road testing.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and personal development.
- Flexibility to work different shift patterns as required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair buses and coaches, including inspection and servicing.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs using diagnostic equipment.
- Support ongoing training and career progression within the engineering team.
