Job summary

National Express is seeking a Mechanical Support in Perry Barr to support our Engineering team, helping with repairs and routine servicing to keep vehicles compliant with regulations and company standards. You should have a mechanical interest and previous experience, and a manual car/PCV licence is ideal; shift availability is 16:00–00:30 or 22:00–06:30, five days over seven.

Qualifications

• Mechanical interest and previous experience in vehicle repair or maintenance.
• PCV licence ideal, manual cardriving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage service duties through bus allocations and garage plans.
• Carry out routine services including oil changes to standards.
• Conduct road wheel changes and minor repairs as needed.
• Ensure documentation is maintained according to procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping and comply with Safety, Health, Environment and Fire regulations.
