Job summary

Bidvest Noonan Group is seeking a Bus Cleaning Operative in Dudley to maintain high cleaning standards on coaches and buses. You will work both independently and as part of a team, following cleaning checklists and safety practices. Full training is provided, with opportunities for progression.

The role requires good English skills and a proactive approach to prioritising a changing workload. Uniform, holidays and pension are included as part of the benefits.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working alone and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload.
• Cleaning experience would be preferred however full training will be provided.
• A good understanding of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Clean coaches and buses to the best quality.
• Sweep the vehicle and remove rubbish from floors, seats and luggage racks and driver’s cabin.
• Check the vehicle for any lost property.
• Wipe armrests, windowsills and trays.
• Clean windows with glass cleaner and cloth.
• Hoover carpets and seats if required.
• Secure seat belts and mop vinyl flooring.

Key responsibilities of a Bus Cleaning Operative

• Cleaning the coaches and buses to best quality
• Sweeping the vehicle and remove all rubbish and debris from the floor, seats and luggage racks and driver's cabin
• Checking vehicle for any lost property
• Wiping down all armrests, windowsills and trays
• Cleaning windows using glass cleaner and a cloth
• Hoovering any carpets (and seats if required)
• Buckle up all seat belts, mopping all vinyl flooring, removing seat pads and hoovering out underneath
• Wiping Overhead luggage racks and footrests
• Cleaning Coach toilets
• Completing the cleaning checklist and displaying at front of vehicle
• Touch Point Cleaning
