Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Bus Cleaning Operative to maintain high standards of cleanliness on our coaches and buses. You will work to clean interiors, check for lost property, and ensure windows, surfaces and toilets are spotless.

Training is provided, with a focus on safety and thoroughness, in a role that supports both solo and team work. Ideal candidates are reliable, with good English skills and the ability to adapt to changing workloads.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working alone and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload.
• Cleaning experience would be preferred however full training will be provided
• A good understanding of English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Clean the coaches and buses to the highest standard of cleanliness.
• Sweep vehicle and remove all rubbish and debris from floor, seats, luggage racks and driver’s cabin.
• Check the vehicle for any lost property and wipe down armrests, windowsills and trays.
• Clean windows with glass cleaner and cloth; Hoover carpets and seats if required.
• Buckle seats belts, mop vinyl flooring, and clean under seat pads and footwell areas.
• Wipe overhead luggage racks and footrests; clean coach toilets; complete and display the cleaning checklist.
