Job summary

SDL Car Parts is a family‑run business seeking a Branch Supervisor to lead a busy team in Clay Cross. You’ll deliver a high level of customer service, drive branch profit and growth, and ensure smooth daily operations in a supportive, non‑corporate environment.

Every new starter begins with the SDL Sales Academy, with hands‑on product and systems training at the Academy of Excellence. We promote on attitude and performance, with practical examples and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Able to pick up systems quickly and learn new tools.
• Interest in cars or mechanics, or experience in sales/advice work.

Salary: £38,000 - 42,000 per year

Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Mon–Fri) + alternate Saturdays

This is a hands‑on role at the heart of our branch. You’ll be managing a thriving team, offering a high level of customer service and ensuring that profit and growth of the branch is at the forefront of the business.

Who we’re looking for

You don’t need motor factor experience - we’ll train you. We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a high level of leadership qualities
• Can pick up systems quickly
• Has an interest in cars/mechanics or previous experience in sales/advice work
• Stays calm under pressure
• Brings a positive, reliable, “team-first” attitude

Experience with MAM or similar software is helpful, but not essential.

Training & progression

Every new starter begins with our SDL Sales Academy, where you’ll learn everything you need to do the job with confidence. You’ll spend time at our Academy of Excellence in Clay Cross, meet the teams who support the branches, and get hands‑on product and systems training.

We promote people based on attitude and performance, not how long they’ve been here. For example:

• Jordan joined with no experience and is now a Branch Supervisor
• Hannah moved from retail and is now a Senior Sales Advisor

Hours

• 42.5 hours per week
• Monday–Friday between 7am–6pm
• Every other Saturday (5 hours)
• 30-minute meal break each day
