Job summary

VerseOne Group is recruiting for a Band 3 Health Care Assistant on a fixed-term contract to 30/09/2027 in a burn care ward environment in Chelmsford. The role involves patient observations, wound care, and supporting nursing staff in a busy clinic setting.

You will work closely with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of care and aid patient flow through the service.

Qualifications

• Caring, kind and patient with patients.
• Excellent communication with patients and families.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy clinic.
• Ability to follow direct instructions and collaborate with nurses.
• Good team work and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking observations, ECGs and urine samples.
• Transferring patients to other clinical areas.
• Talking to patients and their families.
• Monitoring patient conditions and escalating concerns.
• Assisting in wound care and personal care to patients.
• Assisting Registered Nurses in their duties.
